Welcome to Our VEIN TREATMENT website, the newest answer to venous disorders in our area and the practice of Dr. Mark Kneuper, a board certified surgeon treating venous diseases for nearly twenty years.
We utilize the latest technology in the treatment of varicose veins and venous insufficiency, providing treatment to the full spectrum of vein disorders, including the cosmetic spider veins, larger reticular veins, varicose veins and venous ulcers. No longer do patients have to suffer with tired, swollen, aching legs because of venous insufficiency.
We are the only facility in the San Antonio-Austin corridor to offer the minimally invasive technology called the VNUS ClosureFAST procedure in an office setting. No longer are you required to go to the hospital or have general anesthesia for a vein stripping. The procedure is done in the office with local anesthesia and most patients can drive themselves home. Most normal activities are uninterrupted. Any discomfort is usually managed with over the counter medications. In addition to the VNUS ClosureFAST procedure, we offer sclerotherapy of spider veins and some of the other larger veins and microphlebectomy (excision of the varicose veins through tiny punctures) on an ambulatory basis.
